HQ Sweet Sixteen Sunday - Welcome to the family Accuquilt Go!

After a few weeks break I got back into making a video this week.

I very happily received my new 'Accuquilt Go' this past week and immediately started playing! What a fantastic tool this is! I am totally in love with it already and we have only had a few weeks together.

This week is the start of a 3 week project. This week we do some quilt as you go work on the Sweet.

I hope you will join me and make up this project! It's super quick and easy, especially with the use of the Accuquilt Go. It's a perfect last minute gift idea and is easily constructed in a weekend.

Have a Sweet Sunday!

  1. Good to see you back...I missed your Sunday videos :-) I do have a question and maybe it will become evident after the additional videos...why are you doing this project on the SS and not your regular sewing machine? Wouldn't doing the flip and sew be easier without all the added elements of holding the ruler and moving the fabric? I must be missing something...

    1. Hi Kim :)
      Thanks for commenting!
I really like using the sweet to do this project, first of all because at the moment I don't have my regular machine set up (I've barely used it since I got my Sweet).
The main reason though is because I have so much more room. Because this piece is so big I would really struggle to get the piece to be flat while using a regular machine. Having the big table means the piece is flat almost the whole time. I also find using the ruler makes it so easy to 'piece' on the sweet, I don't find it awkward at all. Try it and you will see how easy it is! :)
